ABOUT
Young Min Lee is a senior attorney at Kim & Chang, and he is part of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Governance, Private Equity, and Real Estate practice groups.
Mr. Lee has practiced in a wide range of areas in corporate and capital market law, and he has extensive experience in M&As, private equity, joint ventures, foreign direct investments, and real estate transactions. He also advises extensively on corporate governance and internal compliance matters.
He works closely with numerous investment banks, private equity funds, and corporations in various industries for their M&A, restructuring, and financing needs.
Mr. Lee received his LL.B. from Seoul National University in 2002 and graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea in 2004. In 2007, he joined Kim & Chang.
He received an LL.M. from UC Berkeley, and he was a visiting attorney at Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles in 2013.
In addition, Mr. Lee co-authored the Korea chapter in “The Mergers & Acquisitions Review” and “Lexology Getting the Deal Through – Joint Ventures and M&A Litigation” by Law Business Research. He was also listed in the “40 Under 40 List” by Asian Legal Business (ALB) in September 2015 and “Asia’s top 15 M&A Lawyer” by Thompson Reuter in June 2023.
